Reservations
What is your cancellation policy?
All reservations must be canceled at least 72 hours before the arrival date to avoid penalty. Cancellations made within 72 hours of arrival will be charged the first night's room and tax upon cancellation.
General
What time is check-in?
Check-in begins at 4 PM daily. Please come prepared with your photo ID, the credit card used for your reservation, in addition to your license plate number, car make, model, and color. Note: At check-in, we will need a photo ID matching the credit card used for your reservation that we will be used to authorize the room, tax, and $100 for incidentals.
When is check-out?
Please visit us at the Front Desk or leave your keys in the room by 11 AM.
Is late check-out available?
Late check-outs may be requested, but not guaranteed. Late check-out is based on availability and extra fees may apply. Please contact the hotel directly to request a late check-out.
Is Shore Cliff Hotel dog-friendly?
Back by popular demand, dog-friendly rooms are now available at an additional nightly fee. Click here for our pet policy.
What in-room amenities are included in my reservation?
With every reservation, our guests will enjoy in-room amenities including complimentary Wi-Fi, cable TV including HBO, ESPN, CNN, CNBC, and MSNBC, coffee and tea, bottled water, a microwave, mini-fridge, iron and ironing board, Bath & Body Works toiletries, a desk, and a personal safe.
Do you have on-site parking?
Effective January 1, 2024, a daily self-parking fee of $15 USD, plus taxes per day, per vehicle, covers the cost of parking your vehicle on the resort property. This includes secure, covered, and well-maintained parking facilities with 24/7 surveillance. We also offer pay-for electric vehicle charging stations.
Is free Wi-Fi available at the hotel?
Yes, we do! For all your business or social media needs, our high-speed Fiber Internet connectivity is complimentary.
Does Shore Cliff Hotel offer room service?
No, however, Ventana Grill, named one of Forbes Magazine's 100 Most Scenic Restaurants, is just steps from the hotel. Click here to make your reservation, or order take-out and enjoy it on your oceanfront balcony back at the hotel!
Does the hotel have onsite breakfast?
Yes, please join us for daily continental breakfast in The Galley from 7 AM to 10 AM.
Does the hotel have an on-site bar?
No, however beer and wine are available for purchase at the Front Desk.
How do I access the pool & hot tub?
Open daily 8 AM - 10 PM, the pool and hot tub can be accessed using your room key.
How do I access the beach from Shore Cliff Hotel?
Our hotel is situated directly on the bluffs of Pismo Beach, so there is no beach access available directly beneath the hotel. Beach access is under a mile away in either direction of the hotel, however, thanks to our newly opened Pedestrian Bridge. This provides access to the existing oceanfront walkway that leads down to the beach near the Pismo Pier. Click here for a full map of beach access points throughout Pismo Beach.

How do I get to Shore Cliff Hotel?
Located halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco, Shore Cliff Hotel is easily accessible from Highway 101 in Pismo Beach. From the South, take the exit for Mattie Road. From the North, take the exit for Price Street.
Where is the nearest airport?
Shore Cliff Hotel is approximately 10 miles from San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport with daily flights operated by Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, and United.
