  • What time is check-in? Check-in begins at 4 PM daily. Please come prepared with your photo ID,the credit card used for your reservation, in addition to your license plate number, car make, model, and color. Note: At check-in, we will need a photo ID matching the credit card used for your reservation that we will be used to authorize the room, tax, and $50 for incidentals.  
  • When is check-out? Please visit us at the Front Desk or leave your keys in the room by 12 PM.
  • What is your cancellation policy? All reservations must be canceled within 72 hours of arrival to avoid penalty. The cancellation penalty is equivalent to the first night's stay. 
  • What is the Shore Cliff Hotel's pet policy? While we love our four-legged friends, we, unfortunately, do not accommodate pets at our newly-renovated property. For surrounding hotels that do accommodate pets, please visit this page.
  •  Does Shore Cliff Hotel charge a resort fee? No, as one of the few hotels in Pismo Beach that does not charge a daily resort fee, we take pride in offering our guests complimentary Wi-Fi, self-parking, and daily continental breakfast without an extra fee.

  • What amenities are available in-room at Shore Cliff? With every reservation, our guests will enjoy the following services and amenities in-room: complimentary Wi-Fi, cable TV including HBO, ESPN, CNN, CNBC, and MSNBC, a coffee maker with Seattle's Best Coffee, tea, bottled water, a microwave, mini-fridge, iron and ironing board, Bath & Body Works toiletries, a large work desk, and a safe. Other on-site amenities include complimentary parking, daily complimentary continental breakfast, fitness room access, oceanfront clay tennis court access, business center/computer access in the lobby, access to the largest heated oceanfront pool in Pismo Beach, and Jacuzzi access.
  • Do you have free on-site parking? Yes, we are happy to offer our guests free on-site parking. We even offer a Tesla and Clipper Creek Electric Vehicle car charging stations for your eco-friendly needs. Note: We will need your license plate number, car make, model, and color at the time of check-in. Please come prepared with that information. 
  • Does the Shore Cliff Hotel provide free Wi-Fi? Yes, we do! For all your business or social media needs, our Wi-Fi is complimentary.

  • Is there a bar on the property? No, however beer and wine are available for purchase at the Front Desk. 
  • Is room service available? No, however, we do offer a complimentary continental breakfast including fruit, hot & cold cereal, eggs, sausage, pastries & more every morning from 7 am to 10 am in the breakfast room.
  • How do I access the pool & jacuzzi? Our pool is the largest heated oceanfront pool in Pismo Beach. The pool and Jacuzzi are open from 8 AM - 10 PM daily. You can use your room key to access the pool and jacuzzi. For your convenience, pool towels are located at the pool.
  • How far is the beach? Does Shore Cliff Hotel have beach access? Our hotel is situated directly on the bluffs of Pismo Beach overlooking the Pacific Ocean, so there is no beach access available directly beneath the hotel. Beach access is under a mile away in either direction of the hotel, however, thanks to our newly opened Pedestrian Bridge.   • How does Shore Cliff Hotel conserve water? We are limiting our water use by placing biodegradable cups in room, changing sheets every 3rd day of your stay (unless otherwise requested), and replacing towels left on your floor. Please feel free to contact the Front Desk to request glassware. Conserve water and save $10, ask the Front Desk how.

  • How do I get to the hotel? Located halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco, Shore Cliff Hotel is easily accessible from Highway 101 in Pismo Beach. From the South, take the exit for Mattie Road. From the North, take the exit for Price Street. 
  • Is your hotel affiliated with any airlines for mileage points? As a Martin Resorts property, you can earn 500 Alaska Airline miles per qualifying stay at Shore Cliff Hotel by booking direct. Must mention you are an Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan member at check-in. Miles will be awarded upon check-out. Plus, travel with Alaska, purchase wines from San Luis Obispo Wine Country, and fly your wine home free!
  • Where is the nearest airport? Shore Cliff Hotel is approximately 10 miles from San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport with daily flights operated by Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, and United.
